 There is no point in Starting now I won't apologize for saying that, I am boldly telling you, "there's no point in Starting now"  After all, you feel there's no point in Starting now since You don't have all resources needed,  You don't have it all figured out,  You don't have people to applaud the bold steps you have been taking for a while now,  You don't have any sponsors,  You don't have anyone to call your family,  You don't have whom to call your own,  You don't have the drive,  You don't have the ........ (fill in this yourself). I am here to negate that same fact, by telling you, there are more reasons to start out now.  The best time to ever start is now, because starting is just the best.  You can never finish a thing without starting it in the first instance. THE GREATER VOICE WITHIN

  As She lay there, gazing painfully at her helpless body, struggling to make her voice heard, surrounded by a deafening silence with no one in sight to offer assistance, uncertainty swirled around her like a thick fog. It was a truly harrowing sight for her. And that lady was me. The year 2023 stretched endlessly before me, filled with challenges and uncertainties. I can only imagine your experiences unless, of course, you'd care to share them with me by replying to this email. Even though it was a whirlwind of a year, marked by milestones such as completing my college education, and embarking on my national service journey. Amidst it all, numerous moments of growth and introspection unfolded. Family, friends, and acquaintances gazed upon me with outstretched arms, offering assistance and support.   "Don't ever become your prisoner of a preconceived plan" It's all about writing well. All writing is ultimately a question of solving problem. Unity is the anchor of good writing. Unity satisfies the readers subconscious need for order and reassures them that all is well at the helm. Before writing, you plan by asking yourself questions;  how do you want to address the reader? As a reporter, Provider of information.. What style do you want to use? Personal but formal, personal and casual... There must be; Unity of pronoun Unity of tense. (present/past tense; pick a tense that will be uniform throughout the writing Unity of mood (casual or formal) Writing is no respecter of blueprints. If you feel your writing isn't flowing with the thoughts you have envisioned earlier before starting, you can always make repairs.   "The writer who cares about usage must always know the quick from the dead."  It's all about writing well.  Language is a fabric that changes from one week to another, adding new strands and dropping old ones. The usage of words are so important because Incorrect usage will lose you the readers you would most like to win. There's a difference between good and technical English.   "You will never make a mark as a writer unless you develop a respect for words or curiousity"  It's all about writing well.  Learn to use them with originality and care. Avoid mixture of cheap words, made up words and cliches. If you don't, you will sound like every hack. Care deeply about your words. The race in writing isn't to the swift but to the original.  writing is learnt by Imitation, reading other people work. The kind of writing that might be called Journalese ; "the death of freshness in anybody's style". If you words/sentences are moving in same boring tune and sounding like dead (this happens when you aren't just feeling your lines); you can have variety of words by reversing the order of a sentence and substituting a word that has freshness.   "Be grateful for everything you can throw away. Re-examine each sentence you put on paper". It's all about writing well. Fighting clutters is like fighting weeds. Beware of (those) long words, that's no better than the short words. Beware of long words, that's no better than the short words. (Rephrased - 'those' removed). Up there is a simple example of a clutter. Clutter is a laborious phrase that has pushed out the short word that means same thing. Use: 'free' instead of 'free up'          'because' instead of 'due to the fact that'          'now' instead of 'at this point in time. Keep decluttering your sentences, till it comes out excellent.   "Clear thinking becomes clear writing; one can't exist without each other". It's all about writing well. Writing is hardwork and a clear sentence is no accident. Clutter is a disease in American writing. As a writer you learn to keep eliminating those element in a sentence/your writing that is doing no useful work. What weakens the strength of a sentence are words with no function or a passive construction of words. The Reader who is an Elusive creature is a person assailed by many forces (TV, Radio, mails, social media in general) competing for attention. As a writer, for you to be on track and not be lost in weaving your words together without any connectivity, keep asking yourself "what am I trying to say?, have I said it? Simplify till you can simplify no more (smiles).
