On writing well (3)

"Be grateful for everything you can throw away. Re-examine each sentence you put on paper".

It's all about writing well.

Fighting clutters is like fighting weeds.

Beware of (those) long words, that's no better than the short words.
Beware of long words, that's no better than the short words. (Rephrased - 'those' removed).
Up there is a simple example of a clutter.

Clutter is a laborious phrase that has pushed out the short word that means same thing.

Use: 'free' instead of 'free up'
'because' instead of 'due to the fact that'
'now' instead of 'at this point in time.

Keep decluttering your sentences, till it comes out excellent.
