SMT EXCERPT 2 (Adesuwa's)

 

I am not even sure Adesuwa is strong enough to disentangle herself from her financially abusive husband? And will the complexities in her personal life affect her ability to earn?

You would agree with me that the strength of an African women was/ is often measured by the amount of pain and struggled they could tolerate!! Imagine that 🙄😲

And this was the absurd encouragement her mother will always say to her ears anytime she feels like quitting.

Leaving her with the hope that something better might still come from that 'animal in human clothing' or better still inhumane, Adesuwa too who isn't happy with the whole situation but wouldn't want to be tag with the name, "divorcee, single mother, or a failure in marriage matters"...

What was even Soji's offence, I don't mean to hate him but with all surety I know you'll be able to judge if it was Adesuwa's fault being a responsible mother and wife to the core.

Adesuwa and Soji was married and gave birth to a son 'Soj Jnr',  Adesuwa actually saw potentials in Soji even though he doesn't look like it  before their wedding coupled with the fact that he is an handsome guy who any lady would want to journey with in Life.

After few months, Soji literally became another person,  he moved from taking millions of Naira several times from their joint account all in the name of starting up a business or rounding up an invisible project.

In which the next day, the project you'd see on his social media handles is picture of him and his friends at a very big restaurant drunk amidst themselves to stupour; What a miserable life.

Many things to talk about; is it to talk about the incessant effort Adesuwa put in just for them to have their second baby after roughly 5 years of trying IVF, all to no avail, the most painful thing is that Soji doesn't see the need to all of these, to crown it all Adesuwa is the bread winner of the family, and she literarily takes up every single financial related responsibility and still covers up Soji in front of her friends and family.

Do you know what it cost to keep repeating IVF processes, it's a whole lot of funds there in, but Adesuwa wants to keep her marriage at all cost.

He practically left Adesuwa traumatized emotionally in this marriage.

On a fateful afternoon, Adesuwa collapsed into her seat, thinking about the whole thing, a call came in from Zuri, she knew something was up, Zuri told her to check what's going on Online, Adesuwa wouldn't believe what her eyes saw; the headline read thus "Lagos Big Boy Announces Crash of His Marriage to Entertainment Lawyer with Photo of His Pregnant Girlfriend"!

Hmmmm, Adesuwa couldn't hold back her tears, she was down for days, but thank God her circle understands her best, they were there to help her.

She was now proudly a single mother and have finally moved on.

No one will want to settle with or have anything that is Financially abusing her.

Of course, I won't forget telling you about Adesuwa strength, she is one of the best Lawyers in Nigeria, she is a killer in the boardroom, always standing tall executing each plans that comes her way in her career path.

Anyways while Soji left, she was already carrying his second baby, though came at the wrong time, but she was forever glad because she has been healed.

I know you've caught so much lessons, herein
